Foothills of Damavand Hiking Tour

This daily tour is devoted to hiking and trekking in foothills of Damavand (available in spring and summer). Damavand is the highest peak in Iran (5671m) and the highest potential volcano in Asia. The peak is snow covered during the entire year. Damavand has its own special place in Persian folklore and mythology.

It is also the symbol of Iranian resistance against the foreign rule in Persian literature. Hiking in foothills of Damavand is a great chance to view the beauty and richness of flora and fauna of this spectacular area.
