We then visit the main places in Shiraz, Yazd, and Isfahan, followed by a visit to Abyaneh and Kashan at the end.

  • Ahvaz
  • Day 1 Ahvaz

After arriving in Ahvaz, you’ll be transferred to the hotel for rest. We’ll start our tour with a visit to the bridges and places connected with the ancient Mandaeism (a gnostic religion), and Moein-o Tojar Caravanserai.

We also visit the Shadegan Ponds (famous for their flora and fauna), followed by visiting the Minoo Island where you have an opportunity to be introduced to a customary style of life in a Mozif, (a special structure, made altogether out of reed, which belongs to this region and goes back to the ancient times). We’ll return to Ahvaz in the evening.

  • Day 3 Shiraz

Today, we are going to drive from Ahvaz to Shiraz (563 km), starting our trip through delightful landscapes and multiple climates. It begins from 60 meters above sea level and proceeds to a height of 1,600 meters!

We’ll have an opportunity to visit the ancient Bishapur City (well-known for its bas-reliefs and the remains of a Sasanian city) and the Anahita Temple (goddess of water).

A short walk from Tange Chogan, the rocky walls here are home to six large bas-reliefs cut out of limestone. We’ll arrive in Shiraz at night.
