Thank you again Abbas for your support in arranging a fascinating trip around Iran - a wonderful adventure, and a real privilege to see the real country behind the headlines. Your guides were well informed and entertaining, open to discuss my many random queries, with excellent organization, flexible planning, and pertinent advice. Although I realized your tours were a little more expensive than those organized on the ground, overall I think it was good value for money. Both Dariush and Atefe were lovely people to travel with - their impressive knowledge and personal anecdotes certainly brought life to the many ancient sites and poetic architecture. Moreover, I now have many friends to visit when I next come to Iran!

English, living in Shanghai
I had travelled to Iran at several occasions before on business, but had never had the opportunity to visit the really famous and ancient historical sites of the Persian empire.
Thanks to Trip to Persia we were able to visit Esfahan, Yazd, Persepolis and Shiraz in a short period of time without missing the “magic” and “historical and cultural baggage” those sites entail.
Abbas, our tour guide, not only displayed great knowledge of his country and all the places visited, but also made us feel assisted all steps of the way, taking care of minimum details. In addition to his knowledge, his narrative was always delightful and friendly, what really helped to keep a great atmosphere in the group.
The trip turned out to be amazing with all the expertise and support they were able to offer. Not only in the scope of a group but also as an individual, I have got a 5 star assistance when I had to go astray from the group to fulfill a business commitment in Tehran.
Especial Thanks to Atefe as well for guiding us in our tour of Yazd and sharing with us the insights and point of view of a local young woman.
In a group of 5 western ladies, we had an amazing time and recommend the trip with “ Trip of Persia” to anyone interested in visiting this beautiful and intriguing country.

Thanks you to “Trip to Persia” for giving us an opportunity to see a truly beautiful country.
Everything was arranged for us, starting from the air travel , the hotel booking and transportation. Also, I believe, It is really important to have a very knowledgeable guide, such as Abbas, in order to understand reach history and culture of Iran. We enjoyed every moment of our stay in Iran!!!
I would recommend this experience with “ Trip of Persia” to anyone, whether it is your next vacation or business trip.

Mi viaje a Iran

I have long wanted to visit Iran.
When an opportunity arose to visit the United Arab Emirates, with a small family group of four adults, its proximity to Iran offered the ideal opportunity, too tempting to resist.
With not a word of Persian between us and a limited time frame, the first task was to find a reliable tour operator. A quick search for a European operator proved fruitless. Due to the senseless sanctions being imposed on Iran by western Governments and their allies, all had cancelled their Iran tours. A further search for Iranian tour operators proved more successful and I soon had positive responses from three to four companies. Further interaction with these soon narrowed the field down to one – the Trip to Persia Company. They were competitive, keen to do business and their attention to detail was impressive.
Very quickly they put together for us an attractive and comprehensive 10 day tour, packed with numerous sites to visit.
The sanction situation renders all western credit cards inoperative in Iran, so payment in advance is not possible. The tour price and all personal spending money has to be hand carried over in hard cash (any major international currency will do). Carrying lots of cash can be worrisome for some, but one must bear in mind that the tour operator has to carry the risk of no-show or last minute cancellations.
I must say that overall, the tour fully lived up to our expectations. The sites were well chosen and well worth visiting. Notable highlights were the Golestan Palace in Teheran, the Fin Garden of Kashan, the town and Persian Bazaar of Esfahan, the Zoroastrian Silent Towers and Fire Temple and the Zein-O-Din Caravanserai near Yazd, the rich culture of Shiraz and of course, the marvels of Persepolis.
The tour was intensive and sometimes had us weary and tired by the end of the day, but our ever attentive and smiling tour guide, Mina, buoyed us up and kept us interested throughout each day.
We must compliment the small group of young professionals that make up the Trip to Persia team for the excellent quality of service they delivered in the face of the logistically difficult period we arrived in, right in the middle of the Iranian New Year(No-Ruz) holidays. While on the one hand this period proved challenging due to the huge volume of internal tourism that the Iranians undertake at this time, resulting in fully booked hotels and very crowded sites etc., on the other hand it gave us a unique insight into Iranian society and a contact with the ordinary people we would not otherwise have had. We were struck by their friendliness and curiosity and how many were keen to engage in conversation with foreign tourists. The sheer numbers we encountered at the various historical and museum sites showed us how keen they were to keep in touch with their own culture and history.

Well , my trip to Iran was way better than expected, and I give big credit on that for choosing “trip to Persia” as my tour company , It’s easy to go to shiraz and take a cap to this place or that, but you will not get the 360 degree befit of this trip if you do it by yourself, not knowing what is the best time to go here or there, wasting time in trial and error, put that my trip was only 4 days so I didn’t have any time to waste, I wanted the full benefit of this first visit to Iran .
Also a good tour guy like Mr. Abbas Safaie can give more dimensions to your knowledge of the country , culture , and the historical places and events, you can walk the street, but you will not know what this street represent or what historical events took place in this street 20 or 40 years ago .
I traveled to Europe and I agree that you might not need a tour guide there since the country is “designed” for tourists and getting around is easy, but in Iran it is different, there are a lot of governmental and cultural restrictions that you don’t want to mess with, and that’s another benefit of a tour guide .
As I said , my trip was for four days , and this is what we did :
Day 1 : lunch, imam hamza tomb, saadi tomb, hafez tomb, jah namah park, gate of quran, dinner
Day 2 : Cyrus tomb , naqsh rustom , lunch , Persepolis , bazaar , dinner
Day 3 : ghalat village , lunch , free for the rest of the day
Day 4 : sabidam lunch and then tube skiing , free for the rest of the day
Prices were logical , company was good, and of course I am planning for other visits in the future and I will absolutely pick the same company if they afford tour guides in other cities.

We met Arash and Abbas from the TripToPersia.com website in Shiraz and were very happy we did. They helped us extend our visas, arranged some excellent tours for us of Persepolis as well as spending a night with the nomads in the desert and general help in the area. Everyone from TripToPersia.com is very friendly, professional and helpful and they helped us have a great time in Iran. We highly recommend using their services.
